Gouls, Gobblins and a Crazy Lady

Keith's sister has a huge collection of halloween masks and decorations. She was very kind and brought them to our house. We all contributed to the decorations. I can say that our house was the scariest on the block. We even had a older boy (8-10) that didn't want to knock on the door. I wonder why, we are very friendly people.

This was the wedding ceremony. I am afraid for next year. We got the halloween bug.

The scary old lady that Drew thought was so cool this year. Last year she had to be in the trunk of the car. Oh how the change in just a year.

Then there was this crazy lady that showed up at our house. I am kinding. This is Keith's mom. Shirly and Lorraine went to a costume contest. Shirly was having fun. She had a sign that said, "Lost chichuaua. If found please return to nearest Walmart."

Pumpkin Carving #2

I chose this picture because Coral is standing. For a month now she has been taking one to three steps at a time. Eli (in the middle) is now starting to stand on his own.

This is the master carver. He did three of the four pumpkins.

Pumpkin Time

We did get the pumpkins carved a day before Halloween. And I have a rare photo of all four of our children looking at the camera. It would just be too much to have them all smiling.

And it just wouldn't be the first introduction to pumpkins without trying to eat them or beat them (see picture below). Eli is doing the eating and Ian is doing the beating.

Our First Halloween

This year was kind of fun. Even if the babies didn't keep on their costumes and tried to eat them. Coral was a princess. She was eating her tutu on the way to Trunk or Treat.

Ian was a prince. Drew loved the "King" hat and said his favorite had to be the prince.

Eli was the frog. He too wanted to eat the hat and had torn off one of the red eyes and was trying to eat it. We do try to feed them but despite our best efforts they put everything in their mouths.

This was oviously not their first Halloween. It has become a tradition for the last five Halloweens that we have spent it with friends. My friend use to have a Halloween party every year but she moved to Idaho a few years ago. So we get together with some of Keith's old college buddies. This is Drew, Optimus Primus and Curren, Dark Vador. (Have to excuse the spelling.) Drew has spent the last four Halloween's trick-or-treating with Curren. They are a good combination. Curren is very mellow which helps with my bundle of energy, Drew.

Brotherly Love

Some of the funnest times are when they are interacting with each other. I happen to come in and the boys were holding hands. I am glad that I was able to get a picture. It is these special moments that make all the hard work worth it. Ian is on the left and Eli on the right.

Bats stump Pest Control

This little guy likes to live by our front door. He leaves droppings every night. Even though he is cute, it is getting a little old. It is funny that everytime the pest control comes by they tell us that we have rats. And that they are soon going to be in our house. I hate to disappoint the pest control guys but we like our rat bat.

Summer Fun

I was feeling a little adventurous. We decided that it was warm enough to let the little ones play in the pool. I put about an inch of water in our little blue pool. And we put everyone in shorts and a hat. Out to the pool we went and the splashing began. Coral was the first in the pool and the first to start splashing and laughing. Ian was next and followed right after Coral. Eli was not as sure about the water but enjoyed being with his brother and sister. What you can't see is Drew. He was right beside me helping with pictures and the video camera. Drew was excited that the babies got to go in the water and that it was a great day for them. They are really blessed to have such a wonderful brother.
