A Special Day

Today we were lucky to have a few visitors at church. Drew was able to meet his biological uncle Drew and aunt Alicia. Drew was on a mission when little Drew was born so he wasn't able to meet him. And has been looking forward to meeting little Drew. They had a great time together laughing and talking. Little Drew told them about a lot of stuff after getting over a few little jitters. It is amazing how much they have in common. When we got in the car little Drew asked how much he looked like Drew. And he told me that he wished that Drew looked more like him. I really wish that I knew how much Drew understands about the adoption. I know that he loves seeing that part of his family even if he doesn't understand. He is an amazing little guy that has brought our family great joy and many smiles. We are blessed to have such a positive experience through adoption and to have such an amazing family that has made it possible.

Six months

I can't believe that they are already six months. Last night Keith and I went to the Rubio's in the Carlsbad Outlet Mall. We haven't been there together since the babies were born. It was our ritual to go there after every doctor's appointment. That is were we made all of our frantic calls telling everyone that there were three babies. And it seemed like that was yesterday.

When I look into their little eyes or see their contagious smiles I can't believe that every doctor we saw for the first two or three months talked to us about pregnancy reduction. I feel so blessed to have three amazing, bright spirits from our Father in Heaven.

Eli and Ian have two bottom teeth. Ian is rolling around our family room. Coral and Eli are spinning around in circles. Coral is constantly grabbing the boys' hands and trying to suck on them.

What it is like!

People often wonder how we do it and what it is like at our house. Contrary to popular believe, if you call my house chances are it will be quiet. We do have babies everywhere. I thought this was a cute picture of Keith and the babies. It looks like they are crawling on him. Fortunately that is a few months away.
